Stories disappear 24 hours after they’re posted. If an account hasn’t posted in the last day, there’s nothing to show. Private accounts show nothing either.

No. We hold a lookup’s result for a few minutes so repeat visits are quick, then it’s gone. The photos and videos load directly from Instagram’s own servers.

No. Viewing stories needs no account and no app. Signing in with Google is optional and only saves a watchlist of public accounts. Never give your Instagram password to a site like this one, including ours: we will never ask for it.
